Well, I turned twenty one on Tuesday, so you should probably hear the story because it's pretty epic and multiple people told me that my face made it totally worth it....soooo, here it is:
Hawaii wanted to take me to get dessert for my birthday celebration. That sounded fun and all, but honestly, I kind of wanted a party. I told Karrah that and she said I should just go along with what Hawaii plans. I ate lunch with Karrah and HerMan, and Karrah told me that she thought the dessert was just going to be a girl thing, so I went a long with it. Wouldn't you? Hawaii kept telling me how we could do something on the weekend, like broomball and I just agreed even though I didn't really care for the idea...anyways, after dinner group, I leave with Hawaii, Karrah, and Leese to go to Sammy's for pie shakes. MMMMMMM, I got a delicious shake and was almost to the bottom and Hawaii says we have to go back to the apartment to get a textbook for a girl in her class. She received a phone call and said we'd be there in about five minutes. Karrah seemed pretty disgusted that we had to leave to get a stinkin textbook. I agreed with her dismay. We start walking up to my apartment and we plan what to do the rest of the evening. We get to the top and a neighbor comes out and wishes me a happy birthday. I say thank you and we continue to the door. Hawaii had put her key in and dropped her water bottle and so I just decided to open the door since she was probably looking for her friend. I opened the door and SURPRISE!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!! I screamed and jumped back out of the door frame! There were probably at least thirty of my friends in my apartment shouting happy birthday. Bama had set herself in the perfect location for pics but then I jumped back so she missed the surprised look...her pic shows an empty doorway. Haha, my heart was pounding. They had scared me so bad that I didn't even know what to say. The lit the candles and I blew all twenty one of the out. :) Much better than on Sunday when I couldn't even blow ten out. We continued to party all night long and we had two cakes, ice cream, chips, dip, pretzels, licorice...all sorts of yummy food. I have wonderful roommates who fake phone calls and texts and amazingly didn't spill the beans before the party. I had absolutely no idea. I am impressed with all who kept it secret. I was literally scared and surprised when I opened that door. Homey was there taking pictures and so I thought he might have gotten some good ones, but he said he was laughing so hard they are mostly pictures of my legs. Hhaha, I think my surprised look will be a mystery to me forever but a legend to all who saw it. I am glad I could make some people happy, they made me happy, that is for sure.
I hope you enjoyed this story. It was a very happy birthday! I even got to talk with all of my family. The best!!!!!
Well, peace out.
